Comment by Arlene J Harris on August 18, 2012 at 11:15 I attended a Wild Food Foraging day this time last year over in York. It was brilliant and I learnt so much. For instance - did you know that you can eat the seed heads (pods and seeds) of the Himalayan Balsam? Delicious on salads!
Not sure if I can attend this event at Offshoots tomorrow but I'd recommend anyone to give it a go. If you only learn a couple of edible wild foods it will be worth it and the grounds are a delightful place to walk. Have fun!
