We Need YOU!

Following our Level 4 award at North West In Bloom last year, we have again been invited to take part in the RHS Its Your Neighbourhood category for 2012.

This Sunday, 13 May, at around 10am, we will be continuing our work at Whitaker Park and, we need your help to try and achieve a Level 5 award this year.

If you have any edible plants you can spare - vegetables, fruit or herbs - please bring them along and plant.

We will  shortly be installing 6 new raised beds at the plot which will also need planting.  Could you maybe spare some topsoil, or, even some wood chippings/mulch?  You don't have to be an expert gardener to contribute to Incredible Edible.  The most important thing is to volunteer help and determination to make a difference to our towns.

We will soon be announcing the date of our second AGM to which everyone is invited.  This is your chance to contribute ideas for the next twelve months.

Together we can make our Valley INCREDIBLE!

Think I have a couple of bags of topsoil given me by someone else.  Won't go very far at all but I'll bring them if I can - if they haven't been washed away over the winter months that is!
